Coming out can be a little trickier for teens because they depend on parents or other adults for care and their well-being. Some people live in places where being LGBTQ+ is accepted. It's easier for them to come out because they're more likely to get support from family and friends. Others realize their family or social environments aren't supportive and choose to wait until they're living on their own.
